The second half of the 19th century as a new stage in the creation and development of textbooks on the native language

The article is devoted to the development of pedagogical thought in Azerbaijan in the second half of the 19th century, which was reflected in the compilation of new textbooks on the Azerbaijani language. The author notes the great contribution to pedagogical thought in Azerbaijan in the second half of the 19th century by prominent educators A.O.Chernyaevsky and S.Velibekov.
