The research conducted in this article reveals the modern typological characteristics of online entertainment publications on the example of the mass media "Afisha Daily". Identifying the features of the content formation, its characteristics and the preferred subject matter, the ways of presenting the content of its audience, determining the angle of view set by the publication about the events and methods of the advertising policy of the media, the study comes to the conclusion about the peculiarities of the typological niche supported by the publication.
