Typology and Dynamics of Family Confl icts: an Interdisciplinary Approach

The article presents a comprehensive study of the typology and dynamics of family confl icts from the standpoint of an interdisciplinary approach. Based on the integration of sociological, psychological and pedagogical approaches, a multi-level typology of family confl icts has been developed, including role, value, intrapersonal, interpersonal, intergroup confl icts and confl icts of interest. The dynamics of confl ict development have been analyzed, key factors of their occurrence and escalation have been identifi ed. The results of the study can be used to improve methods of family counseling and therapy.
