The article reflects theoretically and practically important research results focused on using the propositions of problem-solving teaching in modeling problem-solving tasks while teaching foreign languages and listening as well. The article deals with the method of problematisation, the models of problem situations, typology and modeling of problem-solving tasks related to models of problem situations. The author gives some examples of tasks modeling.
