Typology of estates: cultural diversity (using the example of the Stroganov estate in Volyshovo)

The research presented in this article aims to analyze the diversity and changes in the concept of «estate» in the context of Russian history. The author explores the cultural, historical, and social aspects of estate culture in the 18th-19th centuries, paying particular attention to how they in uenced the classi cation of estates. The analysis of the diversity of estates and their signi cance for society is necessary for a more comprehensive understanding of the history and cultural evolution of Russia, as well as for re ecting a wide range of social, economic, and cultural aspects of Russian life in the 18th-19th centuries. The work reveals various aspects of estate culture: their location, the social status of the owners, architectural features, and functional signi cance. Studying the estates of the Stroganov Counts as examples of various types of buildings allows for the identi cation of the speci cs of the development of individual regions of Russia and their in uence on the formation of cultural heritage.
