Types of sunflower hybrids and features of their use in conditions of the Russian Federation (review)

We analyzed local and foreign scientific literary sources that allowed us having data about features of the different types of sunflower hybrids on productivity, plants uniformity, environmental plasticity, economic efficiency of breeding schemes and seed growing profitability. A role of the All-Russian research institute of oil crops by the name of Pustovoit V.S. in qualitative development of breeding and seeds growing - creation and introduction of interline hybrids into production - is presented. We considered a question about a necessity to choose strategy of development and introduction of one or another sunflower hybrid type depending on soil and climatic conditions, availability of necessary equipment and subsidized level of agricultural industry, social and economic peculiarities of the country, and financial possibilities of an institution-originator.
