This article is devoted to the study of Internet memes and demotivators related to vaccination during the COVID-19 pandemic, created by Russian Internet users since the beginning of the spread of coronavirus infection and which have become extremely popular on social networks and instant messengers. Some types of semantic relations between correlating semantic components are presented, the most representative of them are singled out. The specificity of the use of the most commonly used correlating semantic components in memes and demotivators dedicated to the vaccine campaign is considered. It is noted that most of the significant semantic components are presented in the verbal part of the analyzed demotivators and Internet memes. It has been established that the most frequent semantic components such as “vaccine” and “vaccination” are expressed both non-verbally and verbally, and language means (verbal components) duplicate the iconic part (non-verbal components) of polycode texts. Significant for understanding and disclosure of the topic of vaccination are such verbal and non-verbal semantic components as “vaccination”, “vaccine”, “vaccinate”, “syringe”, “medical person”, “side effect”, etc., which are associated semantic relations Obj, At, Inst, InstObj, InstR, AKO, Loc, S, SO, Cntr. The most representative semantic relations (Obj, At, Inst, InstObj), less representative (Loc, S) and non-representative systemic relations (InstR, AKO, SO, Cntr) established between significant semantic components are identified.
