Types of temperament and features of correlations of formal-dynamic properties of NSUEM students

The paper presents the results of an empirical study of temperament types and significant correlations between formal-dynamic properties of male students of Novosibirsk state University of Economics and Management (NSUEM), the sample included 205 young men. To solve the problem set in the paper, the authors used the questionnaire of the formal-dynamic properties of personality of V. M. Rusalov, which revealed: ergicity (the degree of activity of a person's communication with other people and the subject environment); plasticity (the speed of switching from one activity to another); emotional sensitivity. In total, 9 indicators were used. It is shown that such types of temperament as sanguine and choleric predominate in this sample. It is established that each type of temperament has its own peculiarities of correlations. In particular, the greatest number of connections between the scales is observed in phlegmatics, while the maximum number of connections has the index of communicative activity and plasticity of communication. Boys-melancholic’s psychomotor ergycity and communicative ergicity are linked only among themselves. Sanguine and phlegmatic individuals have high correlations between the index of communicative activity and communicative ergicity, while melancholic people have no significant correlations between these indicators. Choleric, sanguine and phlegmatic people show high numbers of correlations between the index of communicative activity and the scale of communicative plasticity.
