In formation of vital positions of the child since that moment as it arrives in the first class, the important place, except a family, the school occupies. Here therefore not only the family, but also school should teach the schoolboy to state an estimation to an event round it from morals position. Except school the major role in moral formation of young generation is played by mass media. From mass media on spiritually-moral education of rising generation, and also a new role in this process of school, given article is devoted definition of modern calls. «The school and modern family values» - this theme has today great value: and as an indicator of a condition of a modern society, and as an indicator of a condition of the state not only in the present, but also in the future. In pedagogy the important place though during different historical epoch accents too were different was always given to formation of sights at education. It and education of the citizen, «the person from the big letter», and the professional or simply formed person. Forming today an overall objective of public education, it is necessary to consider that fact, that today the school urged to bring up, first of all, in the child of the person possessing all set of spiritual, moral and cultural qualities, the patriot of the Native land. Today it is especially important to our country to bring up feeling of national advantage and civil patriotism at the child. The young generation since the childhood should learn to appreciate the participation to the country, and for this purpose it is necessary to know its history and culture. The knowledge of history of Russia means not simply formal mastering of historical dates and events. It is necessary to learn to understand, that stands up for in these figures in the history textbook, to know feats of those heroes who has made our Fatherland who protected it who the self-denying work, talent has created great Russian culture.
