Development paths of trust research methodology in emerging economies in the phenomenology of K.E. Logstrup

The article analyzed the specifics of trust in the concept of K.E. Løgstrup. The aim - is to describe a new methodological path for the study of trust in the emerging economies based on the phenomenology and ethics of K.E. Løgstrup. The research methodology is based on the synthesis of sources, including the works of K.E. Løgstrup and other representatives of the phenomenological paradigm (V. Vēvere, M. Friederickson, P. Brown), as well as international trust studies (Edelman Trust Barometer, McKinsey, PwC). Based on K.E. Løgstrup’s concept, a scheme of trust reproduction in intersubjective communications characterized by spontaneity, freedom of choice, immediacy and contextuality is suggested. In trust reproduction, individuals should rely on commonly shared ethical requirements, possessing such qualities as interest in the “other”, openness and vulnerability. Conclusion dwells upon the fact that socio-ethical mechanisms of trust are of great importance in transforming economic relations, which strengthens the interest in the concept of K.E. Løgstrup and the application of interpretative-phenomenological methods in this area of research.
