Knowledge transfer in the Chinese linguistic worldview (based on the example of the concept “human”)

The article reveals the content of the concept “knowledge transfer”, which is becoming increasingly widespread in various fields of science, including linguistics. The study distinguishes between intracultural and intercultural knowledge transfer; the subject of the research is the intercultural knowledge transfer in the Chinese linguistic worldview. The purpose of the work is to describe the process of intercultural knowledge transfer. The author summarizes the process of describing the content of the concept “human”, and also provides a comparison of the data on the content of the concept in different periods of time, which makes it possible to draw a conclusion on the presence of the knowledge transfer process and to describe it. The main attention is focused on semantic shifts in the field structure of the concept “human” observed in different periods. The research results contribute to the development of the theory of knowledge transfer and can be applied by experts in the field of linguistic culturology, cognitive linguistics, and the theory of intercultural communication.
