P. Auster's invention of solitude: transformation of the autobiographical convention autos

The article is devoted to an experiment with autobiography genre conventions carried out by an American postmodern writer Paul Auster. The author of The Invention of Solitude creates a postmodern autobiography displacing the focus with representation of the author's self and investigating the identity of Another.
