Transformation of the early polytechnism ideas for innovative organisation of modern manufacturing

The article is concerned with undeservedly forgotten theoretical and methodological ideas and principles of polytechnism and polytechnic education, and highlights great innovative potential of this approach, which can be accepted for the organisation of modern innovative manufactures. The authors present a conceptual model of polytechnism at the present stage of the industry innovative development, which sets the task to create a new and innovative pedagogics aimed at fostering an individual’s professional aspirations, development and shaping his/her motivation to work, the formulation of new approaches in technology and organisation of manufacturing, socio-technical principles of the organisation of labour.
