Transformation of identity in the context of social and cultural space of the metropolis

The given article is focused on the issue of coherence and interdependence of various cultures in the frame of social and cultural environment of the megalopolis. It also analyses specific ways and techniques of intercultural communication aimed at preventing potential clashes of intercultural exchange and at settling actual ones. The intercultural communication is obviously perceived on the personal level as a certain person behaves. The current social situation is characterized by vague traditional forms of identity and plural and fragmented identity. Classical means which could solve the issue of cultures dialogue are not enough in the current situation. The source to form and develop a sociocultural environment in the metropolis and to form practical form of the plural identity is polylogue interaction. The polylogue objective is not to displace and exclude but to primarily realize how to work with miscommunication, anxiety, poor awareness and conflict.
