In the context of globalization and the digitalization of educational processes, the need for a transition from a traditional teacher-centered model to a learner-centered approach has become increasingly clear. This transformation necessitates not only changes in teaching methods but also a reevaluation of educational philosophy itself. This research aims to analyze the ongoing transformation of educational systems, highlighting key shifts that enhance the learner's role and promote autonomy within the learning process. Employing comparative analysis of traditional and contemporary educational models, alongside the examination of pedagogical approaches rooted in learner-centered philosophies, this study reveals that the evolution of educational practices favors more functional and interactive modes of instruction over rote learning and passive information acquisition. Active methods of teaching such as project-based learning, group discussions, and problem-solving tasks are central to the new paradigm, encouraging deeper knowledge retention and the cultivation of learner independence. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the significance of emotional intelligence (EQ) in education. It advocates for a new educational paradigm characterized by active student involvement and the development of both personal and academic competencies, aiming to foster independent, critically-thinking individuals. The findings have implications for the design of effective educational programs that enhance cognitive and affective skills in learners, while also improving teachers’ professional competencies in interactive learning environments.
