Transcranial electrical stimulation as an alternative treatment method of ulcerous disease in children and teenagers

Treatment results of peptic ulcer disease using transcranial electrical stimulation in 111 children of juvenile age with peptic ulcer disease is presented in the article. Complete clinical remission was observed in 84% of children using transcranial electrostimulation and in 55% of children who were treated by standard methods. Thus transcranial electrical stimulation of cerebral opioid structures essentially accelerates reparative processes of peptic ulcer defects of teenagers stomach mucous membrane and duodenum, increases efficiency of the treatment and quality of life, frequency and rate of clinical remission, decreases percentage of complications and recurrences.
