Digitalization is one of the mechanisms of globalization, getting into all processes of daily living activities, including production relations, which require strict legal regulation in the field of health and safety. The transition to the digital technologies in the operation of hazardous industrial facilities shall be mandatory in compliance with the law requirements, and therefore the process of digitalization in this area will not precede the legal regulation, which usually lags behind the emerging relationship with the use of digital technologies. Thus, an actual task for modern legal regulation in the field of industrial safety is the development of balanced norms that allow to digitalize the processes in the field of health and safety when operate technologically complex equipment. An example of digitalization at the production operation is the legislative consolidation of an electronic permit-to-work form for the performance of works in electricity-generating equipment and a complex of legal requirements for the installation of a video monitoring system at hazardous production facilities for the collection and processing of information.
