Three-dimensional contact problem on interaction between elastic layer and two punches upon friction

Spatial contact problems are investigated for the finite elastic layer in one face of which two identical rigid elliptical punches are symmetrically indented taking into account friction under various types of boundary conditions on the other face. The problems are reduced to the integral equations relating to the contact pressure. The problems are solved by Galanov's method.
