Trends in digital transformation of supply chains by the example of the petroleum products market

The relevance of the article lies in the fact that in the context of dramatic changes in the economy, enterprises need to become more flexible to external and internal environmental factors, effectively use available resources and remain competitive in the market. Companies in the oil and gas market, as an important part of the energy sector of the Russian economy, especially often turn to SCM solutions (Supply Chain Management), which are associated with optimizing the movement of product and raw material flows from extraction, production to sale or consumption. The theory of SCM was most fully developed at the stage of digitalization. Digital technologies are being actively implemented by the world’s largest companies, confirming the effectiveness of their use. The article discusses the trends and experience of digital transformation of supply chains using the example of the petroleum products market abroad and in Russia.
