Three Russian walking in Europe

This article is devoted philosopho-culturological understanding of Russian history, the fundamental principles of the national mentality of the Russian people. The author points out that in the soul of the Russian people have always prevailed beginning highly spiritual, divine, austerity, sacrifice. Russian people for centuries were alien rationalism and commercialism, forming the basis of ideology of Western man. The article notes that the treatment of Russia to Eastern Christianity, Orthodoxy, was justified by the fact that in Orthodoxy, unlike Catholicism, the spirit prevails over the flesh. Distinguished history of Russia's relations with the Western world, identifies three particularly significant moment, called the author of three Russian circulation in Europe. This event associated with the adoption of Russian lands of Christianity, cultural processes of the XVIII century and the global war, when Russia became objectively savior of the world. Emphasizes that in order to overcome the prevailing during the last decades of spiritual and social crisis, you must first return to the primordial national values.
