Employment of young professionals as a subject to management

The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical studies of the management challenges of young professionals' employment. Four groups of employment parameters (variables) are identified and considered as a management object: structural, dynamic, functional and technological. Structural variables characterize the market behavior standards of modern students (pragmatism, uncertainty about the future, domination of nonmarket forms of behavior, low level of competitiveness). Among the dynamic variables of employment, the following are identified and considered: its duration, pace, phases, reversibility. Three groups of employment functions are also distinguished: personal, organizational, and social. The signs of effective and ineffective, optimal and subopti-mal, specialized and non-core employment are described. Technological variables are related to the actual modes of employment: independent, corporate, state, intermediary.
