Tourism as an instrument of international integration between Russia and Myanmar in the era of global changes

The paper is devoted to the study of the role of tourism as international integration instrument of Russia and Myanmar in the context of changes in the global economic and political system. The historical and modern aspects of the development of tourist exchange between countries are considered, emphasizing the importance of cultural and humanitarian ties in strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation. The study is carried out on the basis of a comprehensive statistics analysis of tourist flows of Russia and Southeast Asia, a comparative study of the bilateral cooperation experience, as well as an assessment of the external environment impact on the formation of tourism initiatives. The authors note the positive effects of increasing tourist exchange, contributing to the strengthening of business contacts, the formation of the positive country image and the creation of conditions for long-term socio- economic cooperation. Particular attention is paid to infrastructure development, transport links and marketing efficiency aimed at attracting tourists from both countries. The need to develop a comprehensive strategy for supporting and developing tourism resources aimed at strengthening the positions of Russia and Myanmar in the global tourism market is emphasized. The main conclusions relate to the identification of key factors for successful interaction in the field of tourism, as well as proposals for improving the management mechanism and coordination of efforts for the effective functioning of tourist networks and integration tools. The study aims to identify reserves that allow countries to strengthen their position in a multipolar world, using tourism as an important element of political and economic interaction. The results obtained in the research and presented in the paper can be used by travel companies, tourism authorities, as well as in scientific research.
