The Artistic Craft of Improvisational Akyn Barpy Alykulov

This study examines the poetry of Barpy Alykulov from a linguistic perspective, analyzing the linguistic and poetic features of his work. It explores the poet’s creative potential, artistic power, innovation, and originality, while identifying traditional poetic elements. Barpy Alykulov’s talent reached the level of professional literary mastery; his rich, vivid, and expressive language demonstrates considerable artistic power, and his imagery adheres to the standards of written poetry. Each work of the poet-akyn possesses individuality while maintaining internal authorial unity. From a linguistic perspective, categories such as connotative antonyms, homonymous microsemes, and semantic contamination constitute vital philological concepts for the fundamental linguistic study of literary works, the analysis of a poet’s artistic image or poetic self-portrait, and the interpretation of individual pieces.
