The article examines the place of educational (creative) practice in the process of training specialists majoring in 51.05.01 «Sound engineering of cultural mass performances and concert programs». The main goal of the practice is to deepen theoretical knowledge and acquire skills and experience in real production conditions, as well as the development of personal traits that contribute to the formation of the range of professional competencies. Special attention is paid to the acquisition of practical skills and knowledge through the study of specialized disciplines and independent implementation of practical tasks by the students.
