Aim: based on analysis of the specialist literature and the results of our own studies, we aim to find out essential and substantive characteristics of children’s constitutional features in relation to motor activity optimization. We performed theoretical and methodical analysis of the specialist literature and used such theoretical methods as abstraction and formalization. In relation to motor activity optimization, it is necessary to consider not only constitutional peculiarities, but also other constitutional features that, on the one hand, define the specifics of development of a child’s motor sphere, and, on the other hand, may be revealed easily within the framework of children’s physical education. If we use several special constitutions we will find out children with extreme forms of the studied features. It is possible to control children’s motor activity based on the suggested model that is special as it requires the preliminary planning of several goals-orientations for children from different typological groups. Children with extreme form of some constitutional feature need a more carefully planned motor activity. If the standard-regulation approach is used, there is a risk that these children may not satisfy their need for motor activity to the full extent. Using different goals-orien-tations will allow the optimization of physical, motor and functional training of children from the risk group on the type-specified basis.
