The article deals with recreational resources of Yakutia cities. The paper analyses the primary sociological data collected by means of interview with rural migrants of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The author notes diversification, changes in the rhythm and nature of leisure activities (deprivation, time limits), gender-based recreational activities of rural migrants in urban areas on the basis of respondents' opinions.
