The paper discusses the results of a comprehensive sociological study: a questionnaire of medical personnel of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashko, an expert survey of the heads of administrative units and departments of the hospital and a focus group discussion with young doctors. According to the results of the survey, it was found that the doctors of the institution are generally satisfied with their work. According to the materials of an expert survey, negative factors were established that reduce the satisfaction of doctors with their work: this is a high level of psychological and emotional stress and low patient adherence to treatment (compliance). Based on the results of the focus group discussion, the need for solving the complex of social problems of young doctors was highlighted in order to increase their satisfaction with their professional activities. In conclusion, proposals were made on the development and implementation of a targeted program to increase the satisfaction of the hospital’s medical staff with their labor activities.
