This article discusses carbon credits to reduce a carbon footprint. The article examines compliance and voluntary markets and analyzes examples of large markets such as the European Union Emission Trading Scheme (EU ETS) and spring 2023 prices. The carbon market in Russia, which appeared only in September 2022, was also considered.
