Criminal-legal and criminological characteristics of the signs of a criminal community (criminal organization)

The article analyzes the distinctive features of a criminal association (criminal organization) as the most dangerous form of complicity. On the basis of current criminal legislation and law enforcement practice, the most typical criminal-legal aspects (signs) of the activities of this criminal formation are summarized. When conducting the research, various scientific views on the signs that a criminal association (criminal organization) should have, taking into account modern trends in the criminal sphere, were taken into account. In the course of the study of judicial and investigative practice, new signs that distinguish this criminal association from other forms of joint criminal activity have been identified.
