Threats to international law in the XXI century

In the study, the author analyzes one of the most pressing problems of everyday life, concerning not only the doctrinal development of international law, but also the practical aspects of the implementation of international legal principles and rules of law by modern states. Historical examples of gross violations of the norms of international law by Western countries are given, an analysis and assessment of the inefficiency of the European region, which has become a politicized platform for lobbying interests by Western countries, is given. The author comes to the conclusion about the expediency of Russia's withdrawal from the Council of Europe, as well as the possible creation of a jurisdictional mechanism similar to the European Court for the protection of human rights in the international arena for Russian citizens. The article provides an analysis and description of six regional systems for the protection of human rights, as well as the author's term of the regional system for the protection of human rights.
