The change in the paradigm of educational policy determines the search for new approaches in teaching aimed at updating and restructuring the content and organizational content of the educational process. In accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard, the basis for the implementation of the ideas of developmental learning is a system-activity approach that ensures the development of the student's personality as a subject of activity. The article examines the structure of educational activity in the process of teaching mathematics, the orientation to the formation of which determines the choice of techniques, methods and forms of teaching, ultimately serves as the basis for building a holistic educational process.
