Universal social mechanism for forming trust: structure and implementation approaches

The article presents an analysis of approaches to studying the effectiveness of social mechanisms for the trust formation (economic, pedagogical, managerial approaches). The aim of the study was the formation of the author’s approach to trust management through investigation of criteria for assessing effectiveness of social mechanisms for forming trust, as well as their description for the development of the universal social mechanism applicable to sociological research on the topic of trust. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were addressed: defining criteria for assessing trust, analyzing the results and developing structural, systemic and process-functional approaches to the formation and implementation of the universal social mechanism for forming of trust. General scientific methods of cognition such as analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, and the method of comparison were employed. A comprehensive approach to studying the problem was applied. A system of criteria was defined for assessing effectiveness of social mechanisms for forming trust.
