In this paper analyzed shortcomings of industrial mixers dry bulk materials. Based on of this analysis the decision on the advisability of elaborating of universal gravitational air speed mixer of dry bulk mixtures based on the identified shortcomings of the proposed market industrial mixers. Disadvantages allowed to create the device with increased performance, fewer economic cost, greater maintainability and smaller overall dimensions and mass.
