Universities in Mali: students' interest in pedagogical studies

This article examines the interest of Malian students in teacher education, there is a decrease in the number of students studying at universities in Mali, completing their studies in some specialties. The phenomenon of interest in educational situations is described, as well as the mechanism of its development in students is clarified. The data of the study, the purpose of which was to determine the interest of students in the study of pedagogy, is presented, the analysis of the survey results is presented. The conclusion is made about the interest of the majority of university students in educational activities, the reasons for refusing to continue teaching pedagogy are highlighted.
