Managerial Flexibility as a Key Skill of a University Leader in the Context of Educational Reforms

The article is devoted to the analysis of the essence and components of managerial flexibility, as well as its importance in the process of university adaptation to the challenges of modern educational policy, digital transformation, accreditation requirements and international integration. The main manifestations of flexibility in management are considered: the ability to make non-standard decisions, quick response to external changes, the ability to build trusting interaction with the team. Based on the analysis of theoretical approaches and empirical data, the successful experience of adaptive leadership in the university environment is summarized. It is concluded that managerial flexibility contributes to sustainability, innovation and increased involvement of university employees in strategic development processes.
