The article presents results of leadership styles and managerial orientation study of two managers in industrial companies, which have different levels of innovation development during the crisis period. Based on the results of empirical studies, a set of manager's personal interrelated features was suggested, which can provide a company with a high degree of innovativeness and includes a transformational style of leadership and managerial orientation, representing the culture of dignity.
