The paper considers the problem of interaction between students and teachers, which is caused by the violation of the norms and rules of business etiquette in the educational space of the university. Business etiquette in the educational space was considered as the object of the research, and the subject of the research was the managerial aspect of students' observance of behavioral ethics in the “teacher - student” system. The purpose of the study: to theoretically and experimentally substantiate and determine the main approaches to the development of a model for managing the etiquette interaction in the educational space. Research hypothesis: the problem of compliance with ethical rules of behavior by students in the process of interaction with teachers is due to the presence of a low level of general culture of the individual and the lack of purposeful systematic work with students to improve their etiquette culture of communication. Research base: Siberian University of Consumer Cooperatives, Novosibirsk. More than 100 teachers and more than 300 students of this university took part in the study, which was conducted in the 2020-2021 academic year. As a result of the analysis of the literature, regulatory documentation, observation, and survey of the main actors in education, the authors have identified the directions for developing a model for managing etiquette interaction in the educational space, the practical implementation of which contributes to improving the effectiveness of communication between students and teachers in the educational process.
