In this article problems of project management in companies with hierarchical organizational structure are discussed. The author shows main disadvantages of linear-functional organizational structure from the point of view of project management. In the passage the author gives recommendations for project management processes improvements based on the implementation of some of the elements of matrix organizational structure for project management.
