Managing the process of improving the efficiency of educational organizations using mapping as the main tool of lean technologies

The article reveals the role of mapping as one of the key tools of lean manufacturing, emphasizes its decisive importance in the strategy of managing the processes of educational organizations in order to improve the efficiency of activities and the quality of education, which is one of the priority areas for the implementation of state policy. The study included an analysis of national standards approving quality management systems and lean manufacturing standards, scientific publications on the issue, methodological recommendations and manuals of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, and the experience of implementing mapping in the activities of educational organizations in accordance with the action plan (“Roadmap”) for the implementation of lean technologies in the education system of the Chelyabinsk region for the period 2021-2025. A characteristic is given to the species diversity of process maps with a justification of their role in the algorithms for improving optimization projects implemented in the education system of the Chelyabinsk region. The influence of efficiency improvement scenarios in processes on the levels of detail of value stream maps and the structure of their filling is shown. Actions are described that exclude unreliability and subjectivity in filling out maps. When considering the factors influencing the formation of the effectiveness of mapping as a lean manufacturing tool, internal and external conditions are revealed. The transformation of mapping technologies depending on the level of technological development is described. In the conducted study, mapping is assessed as an integral element of lean technologies, directly affecting the efficiency of process management in educational organizations and increasing the satisfaction of all participants in the educational process. Specific practical recommendations for its adaptation to the specifics of educational processes are proposed.
