Managing the development of interpersonal relationships in sports as an object of socio-psychological researches

The article reveals the theoretical aspects of managing the development of interpersonal relations in the sports field. A detailed analysis of the concept of “interpersonal relations” is carried out. The issues of social perception in the sports environment are considered. Interactions are established between the participants of sports dynamic processes depending on the situation that has arisen, this is the specificity of the socio-psychological approach to the study of the problems of interpersonal relations. The limitations that have taken place in the past and exist now cannot set the framework for the study of relations exclusively between two individuals in social psychology. The issue of identifying common points that allow individuals to unite from the point of view of the problems of interpersonal relations while maintaining differences related to the specifics of assessment methods is discussed. The results of a socio-psychological study conducted in three regions - Lipetsk, Kursk and Tambov regions are described. The necessity of managing the development of interpersonal contacts in the field of sports in the systems “coach - athlete” and “athlete - athlete” is revealed.
