Risk management in road safety

The author of the article points out that road safety risks arise in each of the areas of public relations related to the satisfaction of transport needs: the transport process, its preparation and maintenance, and management. The article notes that it is necessary to take measures to manage these risks in each traffic subsystem. Such activities should include several stages (stages), which may vary depending on the situation, but usually include risk identification, risk analysis, risk assessment and its processing, which consists in choosing risk management methods. In this paper, the author comes to the conclusion that for analyzing risk in complex systems, to which the system for ensuring road safety applies, as a rule, one should use combined methods, as well as various modifications of existing methods.
