The authors presented the results of a study on the level of conflict in the organization. The survey involved the employees of the social service center. The purpose of the study was to examine the level of conflict in this institution considering the intercultural aspect. The research assessed the level of conflict, the types of organizational culture, the preferable behavior strategies in a conflict among members of different groups, the impact of the intercultural aspect on the level of conflict, the relationship between the type of employee relationships and their cultural views. The authors identified a favorable psychological climate at the social service center, a clear division of the workforce into groups characterized by differentiated culture, the dominance of clan organizational culture, the presence of latent interpersonal conflict among supporters of market and bureaucratic organizational cultures.
