Russians’ national education level and their subjective value judgment of labor market opportunities

The article is concerned with the problem of interrelation between education availability and employment opportunities on the labor market of the Russian Federation. To reveal the level and strength of this correlation subjective opinions and value assessments of the Russians were studied. The data obtained with the use of K. Pirson and A. A. Tchuprov factors diagnosed a rather weak interconnection. The adequacy of the value judgments provided by the surveyed Russians on the environment conditions was proven. The underlying reasons determining the outcome of the experiment were specified. The negative effects of the latest reforms in the system of education were highlighted. In our opinion, the unfavorable effect of these reforms also explains the obtained research results.
