The level of resilience and academic motivation of Russian and Chinese students

The purpose of the work is a comprehensive comparative study of resilience and educational motivation among groups of Russian and Chinese students studying at a Russian university. At the stage of generating hypotheses, it was assumed that these groups have differences in these characteristics. The results of the study confirmed this, showing that the level of resilience among Chinese students is lower than that of Russian students, while academic motivation is noticeably higher. Thus, it is advisable to carry out socio-psychological work with students from China aimed at increasing resilience. A further prospect of the study is to clarify the relationship between the levels of resilience and learning motivation among Russian and Chinese students.
