Interpretation activity is regarded as a basis of professional competence of a musician. There is given the reasoning of its forming process in the training practice. The author described the model of mastering the art and interpretation competence. Its training levels are characterized from the content and specific of teacher's activity and clearing the sources of students' studying motivation. All given above focuses in the characteristic of training effect of this training activity.
