Introduction. The personality of the subject of extreme activity does not always comprehensively suit the real requirements and requests of activity. Forecasting his adaptation is impossible without division of psychological conditions and factors of the process. This problem is of theoretical methodological character and is determined by lack of the unified approach to assessment of personality of future subjects of extreme activity. The aim is to substantiate the conditions and factors of forecasting adaptation of personality of future subjects of extreme activity. Маterials and Methods. The study implies collection, summarizing and analysis of the accumulated scientific material within various approaches to the mentioned field of knowledge. The author employed the results of the diagnostics conducted with 155 students of Ulyanovsk State University and cadets of the Academy of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service majoring in “Fire Security”, “Defence in Cases of Emergency” according to the following methodics: “Adaptiveness”, “Subjective Control Level”, “Self-Assessment” (the author’s modified version). Results and Discussion. Analysis of conditions and factors of forecasting adaptation of personality of future subjects of extreme activity shows that their division is possible according to time, constancy and degree of impact, objectivity and subjectivity. However, the classification is of an incomplete character and can be supplemented. On the empirical level the factors are personality features including adequate self-assessment, nervous and psychic stability, internality - externality. Conclusions. Analysis of the conditions and factors of personal adaptation of future subjects of extreme activity shows that their influence is primarily determined by the system of “personality - activity - situation”.
