Improvement of the machine for removing the pairs of the slaughter bird

The poultry processing industry occupies one of the important places in providing the population with high-quality food. The efficiency of poultry processing enterprises is determined by the degree of equipment with technological machines and means of mechanization of auxiliary processes. The variety of technical operations of the poultry primary processing process predetermines the need to use a wide range of technical machines, devices, units and flow-mechanized lines. The article discusses the improvement of the machine for removing the plumage of a slaughter bird. The disadvantages of this machine include increased noise during operation, as well as insufficient water protection of transmission mechanisms. In addition, when the gears rotate, lubricant is splashed, which creates unsanitary conditions for processing. The proposed design of the drive makes it possible to reduce labor intensity during machine maintenance, reduce noise, the number of standard sizes of parts and reduce the production area occupied by the device. Such a drive design can be manufactured at any enterprise where simple technological operations related to mechanical and heat treatment of metals are performed.
