Improving the technique of cystostomy in small animal

The article presents information about a new type of veterinary catheter for the surgical treatment of urolithiasis - cystostomy. We performed surgical treatment of seven cats with severe urolithiasis and signs of urinary tract obstruction. The use of a new treatment method has successfully removed the symptoms of urinary tract obstruction, does not lead to postoperative complications, and, unlike urethrostomy, is an organ-preserving operation.
