Successful correction and development therapy in children with general speech underdevelopment

The article examines the necessity of combined corrective therapy to overcome the general speech underdevelopment (ONR). The development of the new approach started a long time ago from formation of defectology as an integrative field of knowledge at the confluence of medicine, psychology and education. The author analyses problems associated with the research results, giving reasons for correctional therapy in children with ONR based on the game - the leading activity at this age, as well as the interaction of children with surrounding adults and peers.
