Establishing the method of involving a minor in the commission of a crime as a mandatory qualification stage

In this article, the author analyzes the method of involving minors in committing acrime within the framework of Article 150 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The study is based on the problems associated, on the one hand, with the presence of constantlydeveloping external and internal threats to the involvement of minors in destructive movements,their involvement in antisocial actions, and subsequently the commission of a crime, provided ahigh level of latency of this kind of crime in general. On the other hand, with an increase in theproportion of serious and especially serious crimes committed by minors alone in the futureagainst the background of previous involvement in criminal activity by an adult and the establishmentof negative motivational structures on this basis. The aim is to establish the existence of a relationship between the way a minor is involved incommitting a crime and the subsequent transformation of a teenager’s motivation, within theframework of a specific deviation. And, as a result, to identify the practical importance ofestablishing a method of involving a minor in committing a crime both at the pre-trial and judicialstages, including at the stage of qualifying the crime as such. In conclusion, the author concludes that it is the establishment of the true method of involvementused by the perpetrator as an element of the corpus delictprovided for in Article 150 of theCriminal Code of the Russian Federation that makes it possible to adjust subsequent preventiveand preventive work with minors, as well as minimize the risks of their re-involvement in adestructive environment and the commission of single or group grave and (or) especially gravesocially dangerous acts in the future.
